Terry & Leni

Wednesday, March 3rd.  Spent the night at Terry and Leni's and will be here until Sunday.  Terry works out of his home shop repairing TVs and I will help him with deliveries and pickups for the next several days.  Leni left with her girlfriends to spend the night at the nearby Indian Casino for a night of gambling and fun.  She will be back tomorrow.

Finally Out of Here

Monday, March 1st and I finally cleared up all the legal stuff with our attorney and the banks.  Departed Dublin about 1:00 PM and headed for Riverside, CA to visit Terry and Leni Walden for a few days.  On the way down I-5 I noticed that California is now in it's green velvet stage and the nut tree blossoms are so thick on the ground that it looks like snow.

Spent Monday night at the Santa Clarita Walmart again.  It's a perfect stop and rather pleasant with nice views of Magic Mountain.  Thought I would give them a few more plugs with pictures.

Home Again

I returned to Dublin on Thursday, February 25th to finish up on some legal matters. It had also become apparent that Lucy the cat was not going to be a happy traveler and fortunately our dear friends Russ and Darlene Muraoka volunteered to keep Lucy for the next three months. Their daughters Kalene and Kristin love animals and are excited about watching Lucy for the next several months. I will return to my road trip on Tuesday, March 2nd.

San Diego Zoo

On Monday, February 22nd we all spent the day at the San Diego Zoo.  If you have never visited this Zoo, it is a must see.  I have been here numerous times, but they constantly improve it and their newest elephant and history exhibit is fabulous!  Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words.  For a better view of the picture just double click on it.

Hiking Torrey Pines

On Saturday, February 20th we all had lunch and then spent the late afternoon hiking at Torrey Pines State Park and Beach.  It is truly a beautiful hike.  For a better view of the picture just double click on it.

San Diego

Arrived in San Diego on Thursday, February 18th and spent six days visiting Pamela, Richard and our newest grandson Levi (9 months).  Richard's parents (Bernard & Ninya Van Galen) were also visiting from England and they are truly delightful to be around.  For a better view of the picture just double click on it.
